I know there have been alot of topics about this but I want to know if you can acquire electrum in the labyrinth? I know it's found in the story mode, I want to know if it can be found in labyrinth mode. Top Voted Answer. Electrum is found in treasure chests in the Forsaken Lands dungeon in Scenario I believe it's at the northeast corner of the map, reachable only via teleport stone.
User Info: Espeon8. You can find it in the labyrinth but it is pointless since you cannot take normal items and equipment out with you. This is to my understanding because I have been going through the labyrinth and have waisted a good amount of my time thinking I will farm items.
With a Jump Chain, stand just left of the? The Multi will hit all of them, the Jump Chain will hit all but the Soldier. When I opened the customization menu I had new inventory in the shop, some Dusty Elixir accessories had appeared. I don't know if it was because I merely entered this gateway, or could be from beating the last blue gateway. It could be either or something else, but if it was either of these gateways that triggered it, yours should be updated now too.
The path is pretty simple after that, the boulder along the way has the second chest. When you're able to see the boulder, you should also see the Phantom running around in the distance, he's guarding the third chest. After that, head up into the Gulg Volcano forest and forzen water ring, you'll find the other three Light Orbs and the final gateway of the chapter. If you don't have one, you should probably get a Multichain for this gateway, it'll really pay off.
And here's an interesting tidbit, if you go back to Cornelia Plains, there will now be a Champion manikin just inside. I got startled when I was attacked just as the area loaded, before I had a chance to move.
First, you could take out the B- Sephiroth Lv20 Reaper, probably waste the potion, ' and grab the chest. Or you could just use the Multichain at the same spot without the KP Gambler, then do either of two things. Get the KP Gambler to hold onto for use as you see fit in the near future, or leave it and come back to get it when you find a gateway you can pull off a massive chain in.
This kid in this game can use a very wide variety of magic at his disposal. And on that note, he is another pretty all around character, with a few of his bravery attacks comboing into HP attacks and more bravery attacks. A - Gateway to the Shrine 2. Just step onto the emblem and use a Straight Chain, hopefully you have one. As you go through the now empty gateway, I'm sure you'll spot the chest in the distance, head over to get it. Third chest is across the boulder path, next to the red gateway and Mogshop.
For the next gateway, a Round Chain would do best, pick one up if you don't have one. At the third it splits a bit again, right is the red gateway, and left is a blue gateway, and both have chests. Just grab the chest and fourth Light Orb to the right. I got a Straight Chain here. Now head over to the boulder towards the blue gateway for the second chest, then at the barred gateway is the third chest. Now, about that blue gateway Then get the last one on route to the chest.
Just remember that buying any skill chain will get you 6 or less KP, so if you don't have any, just fight it out for 6 KP anyway. Get a Summonstone if you want to make up with her, kupo.
Along the path forward you'll see the Wraith floating around towards the left, behind her is the next chest. The boulder along the path to the gateway has the third chest with a second gil. For this next gateway, if you don't have either one, get a Straight or a Cross Chain. If you want a magic critical boost, go for the Straight, if you want a boost to stage BRV get the Cross. If you're replaying and don't have BRV Zero and you're at Lv1, use a ruleset to easily fill the EX gauge, otherwise the Harlequin will cause you major trouble.
Take an HP hit and right away use EX revenge before you hit a wall or anything. And across the boulder path, next to the Wraith, is the other chest with the KP Gambler. It's a pretty small area this time, even all the Light Orbs are in easy sight. The KP Gambler you can skip for now, get and hold onto, or even use in this next gateway since there are five you can chain easily.
Just be sure to buy a Cross Chain if you don't have one already, or don't worry if you have a Multi. Makes me wonder why the other emblem is even here at all when this one gets all five manikins. I honestly can't think of much to say. Her attacks are ALL magic, and as such, she hardly has any attacks that hit without some sort of delay. So enemies you're fighting can have time to block or dodge, even after you dodge or block and stagger them.
Plus there's an emblem in this chapter that is suicide to fight on with her. I'm not saying she's bad, but she's really not my type of character in this game and could have been much better. To me, she's honestly a huge disappointment compared to how she is in FFVI, where she could wield most of the swords and daggers in it and deal nice amounts of physical damage with the right weapons.
But on the topic of Celes A - Solitude and Treachery 2. B - Ryukahn Gateway 2. You'll get 6 from straight fighting, buying a Jump Chain would net you less than 6, so just fight it out if you don't have one. You'll probably remember this place from the last scenario, so first let's turn around for more than just a small dead end with a single or no chest. If you turn around to the left, you'll see a chest up ahead, that's the first.
Continue turning left and go down the mountainside, behind the manikin at the barred gateway is the second chest. And I'm sure you've probably spotted it by now, but there's a boulder leading to chest three.
Now when heading away from the Mogshop, you may or may not see it, but there's a chest towards the left, on the other side of the mountain from the red gateway. When following the Light Orbs, go up the mountain trail to the last chest here.
Before the next gateway, if you don't have a Straight Chain, you should buy one, you'll get 16 KP, 8 after buying.
Be careful of it's level. Around the mountains there is another Reaper and the second chest. And down along the path to the red gateway is the last chest in this area. I'm sure you've gotten used to them from the last two chapters, but blue gateways don't have bonus lines, so crank up the level and just walk through this one for the chest. Also, get a Multichain and a Cross Chain if you don't have any, or if you have a Jump Chain, don't worry about a Cross.
It's a long run back or you can switch scenarios to the first and buy quickly, but both coming gateways you'll net KP profit. Or, if you already have a Cross Chain, beat the red and come back, there's a shop just on the other side of it. Just head to the right between the emblems, Multichain will hit all five from there. If you don't have a Cross Chain like I said to get, go get one, or don't bother if you have a Jump Chain.
You'll net the same KP either way. Just up ahead to the left is the desert with another Mogshop and a blue gateway. And across the boulder's path is the manikin and KP Gambler, you can get now or save it for later, that's up to you. Don't forget the Light Orbs on the way too. With a Mogshop so close, buy yet another Multichain for this blue gateway, if you don't have one. And as you'll see, the four Lv14s are all gold, so they aren't always easy. Not to mention only one chain would work where the emblem is, but that's also a bit of a trick from the game makers.
Fighting the two seperate ones and chaining the other two without chain skills also gets 6 KP. But if you have a Straight Chain from orbs, use it under the Gunner. Heading back around, you'll see the next two, boulder leads to the second, and the third you should see in the distance. Now before the red gateway, go up the hill along the forest, just right of the barred gateway is where the Harlequin and last chest are at.
Alright, before this gateway, if you don't have a Jump Chain, go buy one next to the Ryukahn Gateway. Also, if you don't have a Straight Chain, either buy one now, or you can buy between chapters, just be sure to have one before starting the next chapter. Other than that, I'm not sure what to say for him.
It's been a while since I played the games before FFVI, so I'm a bit fuzzy on the characters other than how they are in this game. Cecil is another character with a wide variety of abilities to choose from, but the trick to him is that he changes between Dark Knight and Paladin. He starts fights as a Dark Knight, but aerial HP attacks and a specific brave attack will change him into a Paladin. Ground HP attacks and a specific brave attack will change him into a Dark Knight.
But also take note that he gets two sets of brave attacks, one for each job. I personally am better with him in the air, so I have him set for more as a Paladin. There are also two new HP attacks for him, but you can only equip one of the two. Thing about these is they increase brave damage for the class, but decrease brave damage for the other. A - End of Isolation Gateway 2. First head left, in the small gap in front of the barred gateway is the first chest. Heading back towards Pravoka Mogshop you should see a chest at another barred gateway to the left, and when you turn around, go straight forward to the boulder and third chest.
Now forward through the first gateway you just completed, head left away from the red gateway and you should see the other Tree walking around. The boulder on the path leads to chest four, and back on the path to another barred gateway is the last chest. Now head back up to the next gateway, and grab any Light Orbs you may have missed on the way.
If you have a Straight Chain, good, if you don't, don't buy one. I said not to buy one because if you buy and use one here, you'll net 2 KP from the manikins in this gateway since the chain costs 8, meanwhile fighting them all individually gets 4. But if you got one from the Light Orbs, you'll get 10 KP using it here. If you didn't get either, don't worry and don't buy them.
First tackle the blue gateway nearby. I recommend raising your level before going in here, they tend to use summons like Pupu or Phoenix, which makes it hard to break if you're a low level. But like the last few the gain isn't all that extraordinary so you don't have to.
If you don't have one, just fight it out, buying one would get you 2 KP less. As you continue around to the right you'll see the Phantom, he's running around the chest with the KP Gambler. Pick it up now or leave it to save for later, it's your choice. For the next gateway, definitely buy a Jump Chain if you don't have one. It will really help. Also, beware of the Reaper, it's a pain like the high Lv Wraith a short while ago.
Just aim to break within 60 seconds, then take your time. The boulder has the second chest, and the third is up on the frozen water ring near the red gateway.
I got a Jump Chain from the orbs. If you don't have a Jump Chain, you should get one for this last gateway of the chapter. Also, you can do it now or between chapters again, but make sure to have a Straight Chain before next chapter.
This is another one that I wonder why they add an emblem that's not needed. I think?? The story also didn't pull me in enough to keep playing despite the battle system, but I'm NOT saying the story was bad. It was interesting, but it just didn't appeal to me personally.
Tidus is a very happy go lucky type of person in this game, except when it comes to his dad, then he gets more serious and wants to "settle things". Gameplay wise, I'm not too big of a fan of Tidus, similar to Terra, most of his attacks have a delay before they hit. However, most of his brave attacks not only combo into an HP attack, but the delay is because he does a dodge before the attack, and THEN attacks. So his combat style has some good and bad, more good than bad if you time that dodge.
But not really for me, which is why I'm bad at playing with him. A - Crescent Lake Gateway 2. B - Hidden Darkness Gateway 2. Which is still 8 if you bought the Chain. This is the same exact place you were just at with Cecil, even the Trees are in the same places, so turn around to chop the first down. Just the same as with Cecil, the first chest is left at the barred gateway. Head towards the Pravoka Mogshop and you should see another chest at the same barred gateway, and the bouler for the second and third chests.
Now going through the gateway, everything is again in the same locations as with Cecil. The Tree is on the path, chest four is across the boulder, and the last chest is at the other barred gateway. This is another of those gateways that if you have a Straight Chain, awesome, but if you don't then don't worry about buying one. It's just the same as with Cecil at this gateway, you'll get more just fighting them rather than buying a chain to use here. If you do a quick look left with the L button, you should see everything here, with the first chest being that closest one.
The second chest is the one over by the red gateway. For the next gateway, definitely make sure you have a Jump chain, so if you don't have one, buy it from the Mogshop right here.
Or the bottom emblem to ' get only four, but get 32, 33 after that last one now all by itself. Another note, The Emporer in this fight loves to have at least one Flare floating around at all times, you can't block to reflect it back, but if you hit it with Energy Rain you CAN reflect it back. If you go down to the blue gateway and turn left, you'll see the despot and first chest, the second chest is at the boulder. For this blue gateway, definitely get a Cross Chain if you don't have one, you'll net 17 KP if you buy the chain, or just get 25 KP if you didn't.
Or if you have a Straight Chain from orbs, you can use that, a free Straight Chain gets as much as buying and using a Cross Chain. Also, if you have a straight Chain, you can use that at the left? But if you'd prefer to 5- Ephemeral Summoner Lv16 use a cheaper Jump Chain, just above ' or to the right of that emblem will also get you fighting all four on the right.
I can't figure out a Chain that can get all five at once, so 16 is what you'll get, not To your right is the KP Gambler, take it or save it, it's your call.
You've also got two Light Orbs right, and two more left. First thing you probably saw was the blue gateway ahead, for this one just don't worry about using any chains at all, no matter what you have.
Buying one for ' 6 KP and then getting 9 KP from the fights, instead of fighting them inividually for 3 is just I dunno. Usually my recommended levels are under the Bonus Line, but the Lv26 can be a pain, especially for someone like me who isn't good with Tidus. Of course a rules set-up can make it a bit easier, but it's still a hell of a fight, even more so if you're going in at Lv1.
You probably saw the Stalwart before the gateway, but go and take it out, and don't forget the first chest at the boulder on the way. The second chest is a bit further down the path at a barred gateway. The Light Orbs are all up at Gulg. Now, if you don't have a Straight Chain, get one Straight Chain from the Pravoka Mogshop that popped up after last gateway.
You can get it now, or between chapters, but have a Jump Chain for the start of the next chapter. Also to note, Jecht can be as much of a pain as the Wraith earlier if you go in at Lv1. So I'll get to how he plays, Firion is the original weapon master of the Dissidia games.
He has quite a few varying moves, except his brave attacks are better comboed on the ground into HP attacks. Aside from Swordslash on ground and air, his ground brave attacks all combo into HP attacks and his air brave attacks are magic that can combo as the single spell, or change to another magic during the combo.
He has an arrow HP attack for ground and air that's pretty fast and long range, he has two attacks ground and air that use all of his weapons in a powerful attack combo, and a ground HP attack like WoL and Exdeath that deflects and counters. He's a fairly well rounded character. A - Hidden Darkness Gateway 2. The first chest is down by the empty gateway, which is actually the one you just cleared.
When heading forward, you'll come to the Crescent Lake area, to your left is the Warlock, heading around the forest to the center you'll see the two Phantoms.
Second chest is at the boulder next to the first Phantom, the KP Gambler is in the ruins after the second Phantom. Alright, if you don't have a Jump Chain, you could buy one. If you go in at Lv1, take note that one of the manikins has Pupu for summon. So it's a tough break for Lv1 unless you have a set up with First Strike ability and a high crit rate rules set to get crits to break it, with damage and booster accessories.
Obviously you'd probably be using most of that already, but I had to make not of it, but it's nothing like the Wraith and Jecht fights in the last chapter. And like I mentioned B- Jecht Lv14 just before, one of these has Pupu ' and can get filled up with too much BRV if you aren't quick. Specifically it's the Wanderer next to the chest. One last note, Jecht also has a summon for large rapid BRV gain, he may not be part of the KP Chance, but he can get troublesome if you aren't careful.
To the right is the only chest, Light Orbs scattered about, blue gateway in front, and red gateway to the left. If you don't have one, you should get yet another Jump Chain, it's the best one to use at this blue gateway. If you have space or don't mind losing any skill you have right now, grab a Multichain. Move one left and use a Jump ' Chain, you'll get the first four.
You can't go back to previous areas of this chapter, but it's not a big loss since there's a Mogshop here and you can restart the chapter after beating it if you want to go back into the blue gateway. You'll see all the Light Orbs in this small area. If you don't have a Jump Chain, I think you should get one, best chain for the next gateway. If you haven't checked out the third scenario, that gold thing that looks like a yellow crystal with gold metal spiraling around it, that's a teleport stone.
Right now there is only one destination, but you'll see more of these later in the game. So about that destination, you're on Shinryu's Isle right now, so select Land of Discord and teleport.
This place should look familiar, its between the second and third gateways from the epilogue of scenario one. The boulder and red gateway you see off in the distance to the right same gateway from the end of the epilogue are beyond a barred gateway, can't go there. The first chest is at the boulder, second is at the barred gateway near the Witch, and third is near the Champion and the next gateway.
If you go all the way down the path, you'll find the KP Gambler. Now, if you didn't get a Multichain from the Light Orbs, take a trip back through the teleport stone and go to the Mogshop.
You can get now or between chapters again, but you'll want a Straight Chain for the next chapter. You can B- The Emporer Lv22 use it next to the Wanderer to get ' all but the Lv18 Stalwart, or you take out the Wanderer and use it on the emblem. I personally prefer using the emblem. Only one chest is in the key, but that's because both chests hold the same item, Pink Tail, so you get two.
An orphan raised in a military academy that was built to train people to fight the sorceress. Although an orphan and doesn't know who his parents are, it gets hinted at in VIII for people who couldn't figure it out.
Squall has some really good close range combos, with a few spells to also be used. One of my favorite spells of his is Thunder Barret, it's a mid range attack, but pulls the enemy in if they don't block it.
His only long range HP attack is Rough Divide, which attacks very similarly to Cloud's Braver, except he jumps first, it's faster, and he adjusts altitude. A - The Flowering Spring 2. B - Northern Lufenia Gateway 2. As usual, turn around first, you'll see a chest in the distance. As you run that way, you can get to that first chest you see from the first boulder you see. And to note, boulders for Squall are a pain, if you try from a lower height or a slight step away, one hit in his combo will miss and cancel your combo.
It's the only chest on that long island, so just hop back. Continuing this way you'll see a boulder and a barred gateway, at the gateway is the second chest on the list, the boulder has the path for the third chest.
When grabbing that one, you'll see another chest near a reaper, that's the fourth chest. When going forward from the opening gateway, go right around the mountains for the Reaper and chest. Fifth and final chest is down near the next gateway. This gateway looks like one of the ones that buying a chain won't get you profit and more depends on what you get from Light Orbs, but it isn't. I'd say this depends on what you want to do and what you got from Light Orbs.
If you got a Straight, Cross, or Multichain from the orbs, they're the best. If you didn't get any of them from the orbs, switch over to the first scenario to buy a Multichain, it's the only one worth buying for this.
Then again, you don't have to go buy one if you don't want to, you'll get 3 more KP than just fighting the four you can reach individually. Decent KP gain if you bought a Multi. From where you start you'll see two Trees, some Light Orbs, and a chest, you should also see ruins that look like the base of a tower, the Mirage Tower. Inside is the first chest.
Heading towards the empty gateway and the second chest you already saw next to a Tree. Further closer to the mountain wall is the third chest, it's just a little further and slightly right when coming from the ruins towards the empty gateway.
Turn left and go along the wall for the other Tree, about where it is turn right around the mountain wall for chest four. Continuing around, go through the small opening for the KP Gambler, take it or leave it, it's up to you.
If you go back in and keep on going around, you'll find the last chest. With that Mogshop right there, you definitely want to buy a Multichain if you don't have one, and this is also a pretty decent place to use a KP Gambler. I'm not saying to go back and get all KP Gamblers if you saved them to replay this chapter and use here, but using the one in this area isn't THAT bad of an idea. Without using one you get 50 KP, and one would think you could triple that to get But that's not the case, it triples the very first one KP you get per fight, before the game applies the bonus from the emblem.
Head around to the boulder on the left for the first chest. Up to the right of the red gateway is the second chest after another boulder. If you didn't get one from Light Orbs, should get a Round Chain. If you have a Straight Chain, don't drop it for a Round if you're lacking skill space, just take the next red gateway before the blue gateway. For the Straight Chain, ' just go left one and chain the four. Over by the Mogshop is the first chest, and over by where the Stalwart is or was at is a boulder to the second chest.
For this last gateway of the chapter, buy a Multichain if you don't have one. And like usual, you should get a Straight Chain before next chapter, now or between chapters, it's all you. You will get 32 KP on the emblem, too bad the Harlequin isn't in reach. Zidane is fairly rounded with physicals, magic, and attack ranges, but he's made more for air combat than ground.
I really don't know what to say more than that for his play style. A - Ryukahn Gateway 2. B - Gateway of Sullen Eyes 2. Turn around and go to the right around the mountain wall for the first Stalwart and first chest behind it.
